Ever since we were little girls, we have both loved nothing more than sitting down with an amazing magazine and flicking through the pages, gathering inspiration.
Even today, we still love buying House & Garden each month and trying to work out how we can incorporate the beautiful images into our own homes.
So when the team at Hunter Valley Wedding Planner asked us to feature in their current magazine, the answer was a very quick yes from both of us! But then the choice of which wedding to feature became apparent, and then things got tough!
Over the years we have done so many beautiful weddings with their own themes and differentiation’s. We have done classic, bright, traditional, bespoke, earthy, vibrant, dark, tropical, boho, luxe and minimalistic. And these are only to name a few of the themes! We have loved each and every one of them because we can still remember the bride’s face when she first saw her bouquet, the way each room was set up and the way the couple’s response to the styling and florals.
In the end, the amazing girls at Hunter Valley Wedding Planner helped us decide and we come up with Kirstie & AJ at The Anchorage which was in November 2019. . The ceremony was so simple; our triangle arbour with faux-tropical leaves and a seagrass mat. The theme then carried through to the Chesworth Room where the room was transformed to a tropical paradise with festoon lights, hanging ferns, simple table vases with greenery and candles, our wooden trestle tables and white bentwood chairs.

Also featured is a styled shoot at Valhalla Restaurant and Bar. This was a winter shoot and it suits the venue perfectly. Shot by the talented Teresa at Muse Photography, the results speak for them selves! Check out the results here.
